At just over 500 square feet, this little gem of an Argyle Laneway House was designed for the personal use of the homeowner and she let the Smallworks’ design team loose!
The result — a load of creative design and space solutions including a custom layout (the lofted upper floor was re-designed for a master with an ensuite and a large balcony), a “bamboo” inspired interior throughout the home (all FSC certified), including cabinets, custom bed unit, and stair railings, as well as a load of made-to-order built-ins and storage solutions that make this home special. Some highlights are:
• Hidden slide-out pantry in the kitchen
• Bed with bamboo headboard, side tables and built-in drawer storage
• Built-in closet/dressing nook
• Hide-away TV compartment with automated lift and bamboo cap
