Journeyperson Millworker
Location: Vancouver
In-Person | Full-Time
Department: Millwork Shop
Reports To: Shop Foreman
Who We Are
Smallworks is a recognized leader in the design and construction of innovative infill housing solutions in British Columbia. At the heart of our operation is our Workshop — a dedicated fabrication team that produces the high-quality cabinetry and millwork that defines our homes. Our shop culture is built on precision craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and a collaborative approach to solving complex build challenges. If you take pride in work that is both technically sound and beautifully finished, you'll feel at home here.
The Role
We are looking for a Millworker to join our shop team. This role is well-suited for a tradesperson who takes pride in doing things properly — someone who brings the same standard to a carcass joint as to a finished face, and who understands that good millwork earns its quality through restraint and precision.
Working within our Vancouver workshop, you will fabricate and install high-quality cabinetry and millwork for residential and small-scale multi-unit projects. You'll work alongside Red Seal journeymen and apprentices in a shop culture that values craft, continuity, and getting things right.
